Fort Lauderdale, FL - Offshore

Capt. David Ide
September 26, 2001
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing is Great & Business is slow!

Hardly anybody is out there and the fish are biting!

Lots of Kings and Bonitas on the troll on the reef. One 50 lb King was caught on live bait. A few others over 20 lbs were caught on live bait.

Yesterday we had two Dolphin over 20 lbs. All week we've been catching 2 to 10 Dolphin a trip. With an occasional Wahoo mixed in.

The Amberjacks and the Shaarks are still on the wrecks.

A few sails are still being caught on the troll while fishing for Dolphin and Kings.

The weather has been great for Swordfishing! We have been out a couple of time this past week and the fish are still biting!

Catch-em-up,

Capt. Kunta
