Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

April fishing is great so far.

The past few weeks have been very busy. I haven’t even had time to do a report.

Thanks to all of our past and present clients we have been fishing everyday and quite a few nights.

The day time fishing has been producing lots of King Mackerel and catching some bigger fish on live baits.

Mahi-mahi (dolphin fish) fishing has really turned on with schools of peanut mahi-mahi one trip and some nice gaffers on the next day. We have been seeing some fish up to 40lbs. The fish have been anywhere for 1 to 8 miles offshore.

The Mako Sharks and Thresher Sharks are still around along with Hammerhead, Bull and Blacktip sharks. It has been very exciting.
