Fort Lauderdale, FL - Offshore

Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing is great

Fishing is still real good. We have been fishing everyday and quite a few nights for the past 3 weeks!

Sailfishing has been good.

There were also on small Yellow-fin Tuna’s caught. Most of these fish were caught South of Miami.

We have been catching some nice sized Mahi-mahi. This time of year we get a few over 30 lbs. We had a few fish this week near 20 lbs. and quite a few small ones.

We have been catching some nice sized King Mackerel The bigger fish are being caught on live baits over the 3rd reef and wrecks. We did catch a few over 20 lbs. this week. Some nice Barracudas mixed in too!

If you didn’t see the news with all the SHARKS off the beaches here in South Florida, you still have time to catch one. The Sharks are still biting live and dead baits 1 mile off the beach! Hammerheads, Mako’s, Bull Sharks and many others!

Swordfishing at night is still good. We had several last Wednesday.

There have been a few Groupers and Snappers around the wreck when conditions are good for this type of fishing.

Overall, fishing is real good right now and the weather has been great too.

Tight Lines,

The Lady Pamela II crew
