Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

It is nice to have a few days off!
Captain David here to report that the fishing in the Bahamas is as good as ever.
After all these days of fishing I decided to join the folks, along with Denis Casper and Capt. Dudley Smart in Bimini for a few days of relaxation.
What else - more fishing.
I took them over a nice grass bed in 65' of water, looking for some flag yellowtail.
The sky was clear ,the sun was hot, the bite was not.
We caught a lot of jacks, some spanish mackerel and way too many triggerfish.
We used some jacks to entertain the local sharks. they were big and they were hungry.
only three yellowtail.
The tide hadn't turned enough to get more, and my crew was ready to get wet.
So off we went in search of some lobster. We found plenty of Bahamian lobsterman had beat us to our spots.
But we did get our limit(6).
The seas were like glass, and our 27' Oceanmaster runs like a hurricane with its new 250 Evinrude E-Techs.
Well back to the work that I enjoy way too much.
Tight Lines,
Capt. David Ide
