Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report
A good customer of ours Jesus Galvan had decided to come down to Fort Lauderdale beach from Texas and go out on a deep sea fishing charter aboard the YB Normal, he had brought his friend with him and they had chartered the boat for an afternoon trip 1-5pm. This lovely afternoon we had purchased some live bait in search of sailfish, we would use the live bait and suspend it from a fishing kite to entice a sailfish or pretty much any other fish that eats live bait. The trip started out somewhat slow with not much action we had seen a few sailfish but they never did commit to our baits, after another 30 min of waiting our long kite bait gets a bite and the angler Jesus had landed an very respectable cero mackerel almost 15lbs these are very great eating fish and are great fighters as well.
After catching this great fish we decided to put out some fresh baits and continue kite fishing after another 30 min ir so we had a sailfish show himself on one of our long baits and we hooked up after a 20 min battle another sailfish ate another one of our baits and we had two sailfish on, the anglers did there very best to keep the lines from tangling, another 15 min went by and we had landed both sailfish, and both anglers with smiles on there faces had caught there first billfish.
After letting the fish go the two anglers had retired to the air condition salon for a nice ride back to the dock which is located at 1005 Seabreeze blvd fort Lauderdale Florida right on Fort Lauderdale beach and only 15 min to world class deep sea fishing. another great fishing charter aboard the YB Normal in Fort Lauderdale
