Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

This afternoon we had a group of french Canadians. We were dealing with heavy winds from the east blowing about 20 - 30 knots. The current was southeast about 2 knots. Weather was great once again for popping the kites out and catching a sailfish! We set up with 2 kites and immediately we had a bite on the right short. It was a dolphin that got away with are live bait. Next are left mid bait got chopped in half. Kingfish! We reset with the fresh bait in the 2 lost positions and almost immediately it was sailfish on right short and sailfish on left mid!

Both anglers reeled in as best they could.

Captain Kunta maneuvered the Reel Appeal beautifully capturing lady frenchy's sailfish first

and then her husbands.

We released both sailfish to fight another day. For fishing information or tips for when you get out there call 954-638-6353.
