Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello everyone, this week we have another good fishing report for you guys, lets start off with offshore, this week there has been some steady mahi fishing in depths around 500-700 feet we have been doing well catching them on small surface baits like seawitches and bonito strips, its best to find some sort of debris on the surface of the water that attracts baitfish and the mahi will not be far behind. Now lets shoot into the reef there has been some very nice sized blackfin tuna around still ranging from 10-25lbs we have been catching them best on our deeper lines using planers small spoons and natural color baits like blue and white have been the most productive. There also has been some kingfish as well on the reef that we have also been catching while fishing for tuna on our deeper lines, plenty of bonito still around as well.
We should start to see the bottom fishing pick up this month for snapper and grouper, we do have a great photo this week of a few snowy groupers we did catch these are one of my favorite eating fish, overall the fishing has been steady and with plenty of different species of fish to catch as far as night time snapper fishing I have not been but do have a few planned in the near future. Here at the YB Normal we hope everyone is doing well and we hope to get you out fishing with us soon!! We have some availability this week so please feel free to come out fishing with us we would love to have you!
