Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Gone is all the evil wind and wet weather. Quite the prolonged situation of what seemed forever to be never ending wind and squally weather that is thankfully behind us now. Just finished up essentially three post card perfect days in a row for our fishing charters in Ft. Lauderdale, and we have been fortunate to fish every one of them. Strong showing of Mahi-Mahi of decent size and best of all about a mile off the beach in water just over 100 feet of depth. We had hoped for this with all the brisk onshore wind and smiles all around as the fishing was as we had hoped. Aggressive hungry Mahi-Mahi so near shore is a jackpot. In the mix were some good sized Kings and a few Bonito, Tuna and once again those larger sized Barracudas. Nice Jacks on the wrecks. Good fishing , good weather, and good fun.
