Trolling the reef off Fort Lauderdale

Capt. Taco Perez
December 31, 2018
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Trolling off Ft Lauderdale

Today we set out fishing with Charlie, Max and Noah all from St Louis.
We fished between 100 and 150 feet of water with 2 planners running about 45 feet deep along with 3 baits skipping across the surface.
Today it was the deep lines that paid off for us.
We ended up with a box full of kingfish along with 2 giant barracudas and 1 tuna.
Thanks again guys for fishing with us aboard the Hooked Up.

Hi my name is Taco and I run one of the best charter fishing boats down here in South Florida. WHY? Because I’ve been fishing the waters down here since 1969 and I started at the bottom and worked my way up the ladder. I know what it is like to read a web site and than once you get to boat things are not as you thought they would be. Not here I say it like it is. No surprises. I’ve got a 45 foot Hatteras with a big cock pit. Fully aircondishened and refrigerated. Big comfortable platform.
