What a great way to get ready for the 4th of July weekend!!
We had a ball fishing with Dustin and his wife Whitney and their sons Ryan and one of the toughest little guys you'll ever see Ollin along with their best friend Payton.
All from Camilla Georgia.

We had a couple requests from our new friends #1 was good eating fish to take back home and #2 was Whitney wanted to catch a shark to take off her bucket list.

Well here aboard the Hooked Up today you ask and you shall receive.

We started out trolling catching the usual suspects bonitos along with a few black fin tunas.

Ok now it was time to try to see if we could catch Whitney a shark.
So in came the trolling gear and out went the shark baits. We set our shark bait right up stream from one of our ship wrecks off the coast of fort Lauderdale about 265 deep.
After a short wait BAM we were Hooked Up and Whitney was in the chair.
This was no easy catch and she would gain some line then lose some line this went on for a good half an hour but Whitney never gave up and at last we got this 6_ foot shark to the boat.
WAY TO GO WHNITNEY!!

Now for dinner and bottom fishing was the best way to go. We had not seen many mahi mahi around the last couple of day so down went the bottom baits.
HOLLY COW things started coming together for us take a look at these BIG yellow eye snappers but wait to really put the icing on the cake Payton help the best bottom fish with this 30 pound golden tile fish.

More Fishing Reports:

Hi my name is Taco and I run one of the best charter fishing boats down here in South Florida. WHY? Because I’ve been fishing the waters down here since 1969 and I started at the bottom and worked my way up the ladder. I know what it is like to read a web site and than once you get to boat things are not as you thought they would be. Not here I say it like it is. No surprises. I’ve got a 45 foot Hatteras with a big cock pit. Fully aircondishened and refrigerated. Big comfortable platform.
