Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Yesterday afternoon we had a group of buddies from Germany charter us. It wasn't as bumpy as in the morning. The guys wanted to go big and try for a shark! We started out trolling gathering up some fresh bonitos and then we went out in the deep about 2 miles out to set up and soak for a shark. The climate seemed perfect for a sea monster. It must have only took about 20 minutes for the bite to happen on the midbait. The guys were happy trading in and out with the reeling duties.
Yesterday in the evening we had the Huntt family charter us for an evening shark huntt and it did get a bit bumpy for starters but then it simmered down just like we like it for sea monster hunting! Again, we started of trolling to gather fresh baits for soaking for a shark. We caught a few bonitos and then to everyones suprise the planer rod started screaming like crazy and it was fish on! Dad helped son reel in a true 43 pound wahoo!

! Awesome! We started back trolling and caught a few more bonitos and headed out a few miles to sea monster land and set up are shark baits and it didn't take long for the surface bait to be ate. It was hammerhead on! The hunt family got exactly what they came for and a whole lot more! For fishing information or for tips for when you get out there call 954-638-6353.
