Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing was good for most. We had a 2-3 knot current trickling north. Nice clean water with only little patches of weed line between 175 to 200. Our charter was a very nice and enjoyable family from Jacksonville, Florida. Right off the bat at the begining of the trip in 230 we landed a 25 pound Wahoo! Nice way to start off the trip. It only got better. Captain Kunta put us on to some black fin tunas and never lost sight of them. We cuaght 5 black fin tunas ranging from 5 - 15 pounds. Thats good eating right there not taking anything away from the wahoo's mouth watering taste! YUM YUM!

Captain Kunta and mate Danimal wanted the oldest of the two sons to have a blast reeling in a sea monster and boy did he ever! He landed a huge Barracuda that took about 30 minutes to bring in! Now thats-a-nice-a-fish!

Dad was so impressed that he mounted it for his sons bedroom wall to remember this family trip for the rest of his life! Great catching guys! For fishing information or tips out there give us a call 954-638-6353. We'll be glad to help!
