Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

cold weather has brought us a small flurry of our winter time fishing, sailfish are here as well as king mackerel and some nice sized gaffer mahi, on the colder days we have been live baiting with some pretty good results. trolling remains good as well for some of the same species including blackfin tuna, this year has had some of the best tuna fishing I have ever seen! Some of the deeper wrecks and reefs have had some nice sized vermillion snapper and well as yellow eyes and some almaco jacks... Last but not least our night time bite for the snappers had been excellent we have been catching lots of nice sized yellowtail snappers up to 26inches as well as a few mangrove and mutton snappers.
