Capt. John GiddyUp-Bunch
September 3, 2008
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Since my first report on Cyber Angler, I have prided myself in bringing you the most accurate and honest fishing reports from Pine Island Sound, Sanibel, Captiva, and San Carlos Bay. This report is 100% factual. As you know, I do not report with the hopes of having you charter me. As an Outdoor Writer for several Florida Newspapers, TV CO-Host, and Florida Sportsman Magazine Seminar Speaker my customer fully realize I don't "HAWK" for charter business. With this said, fasten you seatbelt and get ready for this report. These reports document the exciting fishing of Sunday and Tue (1st week of Sept 2008). Ready?

Redfish: Zero, none, zilch, nada, Goose Egg. "O"
Snook: See above Redfish
Trout: See Snook and Redfish
Snapper (Mangrove) (1)
Tarpon: See Redfish/Snook/Trout
Flounder: See Tarpon above
CATFISH: On 2 GiddyUp Charters fishing live bait, DOA, Cut Ladyfish, and white bucktails we scored (seemingly) every Topsail Saltwater Catfish in SW FL. Never have I ever seen anything like it. Make fun if you wish because I make fun of me all the time.

So, there it is. My worst report ever and my worst 2 GiddyUp trips ever. The water quality sucked and so did the fishing.

Never can you ever say I blew smoke up your glutes. I thought I would share the results of 2 total blowski fishing days. My charter customers could have cared less (or so it seemed to me). On the day I give less than 100% on any charter, I promise to quit. On these 2 charters, I gave 125% of myself and caught 1 quality fish. An undersize Mangrove Snapper.

The report sucks but it is 100% no BS. "GiddyUp"
