Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Finally our weather and seas have calmed. Great catches on our local reefs. A large school of big Bull Redfish invaded our area, only two out of ten fish were small enough to keep. Also caught an estimated 30 Black Drum, which was released.
Snapper action still consistent along with some of the biggest sheepshead we have seen in years.
Great for the grill. Caught 3 Cobia last week, one on an eel lure, great to have ready anytime they pop up and you don't have a live fish to throw them. Lot's of nice Gag Grouper to pull on lines, unfortunately out of season, great pictures.
Some of the best Flounder fishing we have seen.
Goliath Grouper still hitting hard. Had to replace the 400 lb. test on both reels.
