Cooler Weather Heats Up Fishing

Capt. Ron Kowalyk
September 18, 2014
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well, the weather cooling down and that'll perk up our redfish, snook and tarpon action. Its pretty good with the return of masses of quality whitebait and pinfish. Better midmorning incoming tides will enhance the bite. My crews found redfish spread out all along Pine Island Sound, Matlacha and Estero Bay. Trout biters are on the upturn as well with cooler, saltier Gulf water perking up the specks. We're hunting cobia, grouper and snapper off the nearshore reefs, plenty of Goliaths and sharks to keep you busy. Good stuff, ring us up and give'er a try. See you on the water!
