Early Tropical Weather System

Capt. John GiddyUp-Bunch
May 20, 2009
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Before diving into this report, allow me to share
the smallness of my nearby neighbors. Remember my reference to the 900 calls after taking the totally smokin' babe on a charter? The following was yelled across my canal (I always knew they were closet GiddyUp fans) "So, you're always making 900 calls after your charters uh GiddyUp?"

If you are reading this report for the first time and wondering what the heck is going on here's the scoop. My reports are based on (a) TOTAL HONESTY and ZERO BS and (b)Lightness and brevity. If you want fluff, 40 snook, 12 tarpon, and nothing but oversize Reds caught on every charter, NOTICE: DO NOT READ MY REPORT. There have been a few 40-50 snook days. There have been 10-12 Tarpon days (AM/PM Charter), and there have been big redfish days BUT NOT EVERY SINGLE TIME OUT. AS WELL, I kid around a lot to offer perspective on a beautiful woman, 2 gorgeous Lesbians, or 2 Dudes who are confused about being DUDES. It is all in the name of fun. So, if you don't like my style and desire to bring a smile to your face, God Bless You, pls pray for me, and have a nice life. Onward for all others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tarpon: It has been a below average season because of above average wind velocity. No fishing guide can be all that he can be when it is windy. I've spoken about this all season. The long and short of weather is simply common sense. We can only do the best we can when handed a bag of worms. Today's weather? NWS is warning all boats to stay in port.

Snook: The snook fishing has been on fire. If you have never caught a big snook before, now is the time. Docks, beaches, and passes are all on fire.

Trout: The biggest trout of the year are all over our beaches. It simply does not get any easier.

Oh, and one last thing. GiddyUp is going to create YOUTUBE sensations with his new dig cam.
Is this a great country or what?

Fort Myers Fishing Forecast:

Tough for the next 72 Hrs. Should be ok for Memorial Day

Target Species:

Tarpon/ Tripletail
