Fort Myers Charter Fishing Explodes with Pompano and Trout

Capt. Jeremy Stewart
February 7, 2011
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

This week Fort Myers saltwater fishing has come alive with Pompano and Speckled Sea Trout as the waters have warmed up to 70 degrees. Catching 30 to 40 fish in 4 hours is an average charter for us right now. Grass flats off the Sanibel Causeway have been "reel" productive over the past week. Shrimp on a jighead are all you need to get the job done.
