Fort Myers Fishing Report - Red Tide Is Gone

Capt. Eric Anderson
December 4, 2019
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Good news for now, it appears that the red tide bloom has finally dissipated. Thanks in part to the falling water temps and favorable winds. Lets hope this is the last of it for a long time. It didn't have any real effect on the inshore waters from Estero Bay south to Marco Island. As usual the news media never reports when things are good, they just love the negative news. Fishing for Redfish and Snook is good in the back country and the night bite has been great. So get out there and enjoy some great fishing in our area.
