Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report
We Landed a big 34 inch Gag Grouper on the big Goliath Grouper rig with 250 lb test with a blue runner for bait. Rod bent over, surprise, not a Goliath but the big Gag. Guests were thrilled to bring home 2 huge grouper fillets on the half day trip. Not to mention the trout bite was on with some over 22 inches. Lot's of Spanish Mackerel at the reefs, free line a shrimp and you have one on almost immediately. The day before we came close to our Red Grouper limit once again, best we've seen in years. Only one Cobia this week but it was close to 40 lbs. Call now to book your trip.
