How about GiddyUp "Attitude"

Capt. John GiddyUp-Bunch
May 23, 2008
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tarpon Season has enjoyed a banner week to last 10 days. As always, every single day has not been earth shaking BUT fish were in the air 7 of the 10 days. Most were on the small side for me (60-110LBS)but the aerial shows were extraordinary. If I have said it once or 1,000 times, this all happened coming into and exiting a Full Moon. The next happening? The New Moon.

Snook: About as easy as it can be right now. The fish have an insatiable appetite as they head to the beach to mate, lay eggs, and mate some more. Personally I would rather eat after mating, not before. Recently, someone I was dating seemed distantly related to a snook. Needless to say, she didn't make the cut.

Trout: The Big Gator Trout are all along the beach with the snook. It is tough teaching people to be patient when experiencing a big trout bite. They take forever and most people jerk the larger baits right out of their mouth. Think about this. How long does it take you to eat a Polish Sausage or a Brat? How would you like it if someone tried to slip it to you before you were done? MAYDAY!

Spanish Macks: Ice these fish down as soon as you catch them and they are mighty fine table fare. PLenty of big macks are in and around the Sanibel bridge B and C span area.

Flounder: I am catching a lot of huge Flounder. I wish I could tell you where but that would ruin things for me. One hint I can give you is Shrimp (live or DOA) rigged to a jighead and bounced along the bottom. Very slowly. How slow? How about as slow as the mind of George W Bush! Gas is breathing all over 4 F-bucks and he goes begging the sand monkeys for fishing guides like me to survive.

Fort Myers Fishing Forecast:

The Rich will be able to catch all the fish they want soon. The Middle Class and poor can no longer afford gas to go fishing. The Death of the Florida Fishing Guide is as certain as the sun rising in the East. Indeed, I am pissed. I own a brand new boat and have not taken it out once time for pleasure or personal fishing. These reports will be history soon. Bush is shutting me down. Little combat dodging weasel. "GiddyUp"
