Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing the backwaters of Estero Bay for redfish and snook has been very successful. The higher stages of the tide along the shorelines using live or cut pinfish is the way to go. On the lower stages work the edges of grass flats with artificials or live shrimp under a cork. Trout and pompano will be mixed in.
There's is a variety of fish being caught off the nearshore wrecks with flounder and mackerel leading the way. Also, grouper, snapper, cobia and bonito. Using live pinfish and whitebait will entice the bite. Can't upload pics for some reason. Get out there and enjoy this beautiful weather.
