The inshore fishing is still going strong with snook at the top of the list. The best way is to cast net pilchards and chum the shorelines with them to find the snook. Chumming the waters is the best way to locate fish. Using this method you will come across redfish, trout and flounder. Always look for the water hitting the shorelines or running over oysters.

The nearshore wreck fishing hs been pretty consistent action with numerous species. There's a good number of grouper sitting on these structures. Remember gag grouper season is closed. The flounder and sheepshead bite is picking up. A 3/8 oz jighead tipped with a fresh piece of shrimp will entice the sheepies and a live pilchard on the bottom will keep you busy with grouper and flounder.
