No Lightning: Go Fishing It Will Pay Off!

Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

The redfish and Snook have not seemed to mind the rain, after all they are already wet! The good thing about fishing on rainy days is that you are almost always the only one on the water. The bait has been tough to get to since the wind kicked up, so I have been using pinfish mainly with good success. The Reds are hard to find if not impossible on the lower stages since the wind has the water a little chopped up. Focus on fishing the higher tides around shorelines and oysters. Stay far away from the shoreline as the fish can be pretty far off of them. A Pinfish or Pilchard on an Owner 2/0 circle hook with 30lb Seaguar leader is the rig.
