Capt. Gary Clark
June 28, 2011
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing report for the week ending 6/26/2011

Rainy season kicked in mid week giving us a break from some of the heat. Strangley though we still have very salty water in the bays and the river mouth there have been no releases from the river yet.

John Bell is pictured here with a nice trout he caught in San Carlos Bay. Trout , mackerel and some nice snappers are in the clear water around the bridges and passes, free linned shinners are best.

For bigger action sharks are the way to go, around the passes in the bay or on the beaches there easy to find. Lemons, bulls, blacktips and hammerheads.
