Red Tide moves out High Winds and cold move in

Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

We need a break from Mother Nature.

My charters of late have been a B minus. Trout have been difficult to find and redfish have been scarce.

Nearshore for Tripletail has been a total bust. In speaking with 2 commercial stone crab friends, both reported seeing 1 Tripletail of 12". I'm wondering if it was the same fish after changing trap lines.

This weekend promises to be a total bummer in SW FL. If you are coming to fish, score points by taking your Ball and Chain to The Mall, on a Picnic, or some other form of happiness maintenance.

Next week is suppose to have a brighter picture and forecast.

Sorry for the most indifferent news.
