Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

The fishing at this time of the year is on fire. Water tempertures are dropping and plenty of bait around for the fish to fatten up. Redfish are schooling up on the first part of the incoming tides and as the tide gets high work the mangrove shorelines. Pinfish and pilchards are the choice of bait.

Cobia are podding up on the wrecks so make sure and be ready with freelined pinfish. I like chumming them up with pilchards and throwing a pinfish or topwater plug.
