Redtember!

Capt. Mark Yimin
September 14, 2013
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

The reds are everywhere right now, that's why I have officially changed this months name to Redtember! They are on the flats schooled on the low tides, and around oysters and mangrove shorelines on the high tides. With no wind you can see the schools but on the windy couple days this week they were still there just harder to see. Look for life on a flat i.e. bait/mullet, same around the shorelines and oysters. My favorite bait and what I have been using every trip with great success is fresh netted live pilchards. Pinfish will work too, but "everything eats a pilchard". Don't be surprised to see large Jack Crevalle hanging in the same spots along with Snook.
