Capt. John GiddyUp-Bunch
March 8, 2012
Fort Myers - Saltwater Fishing Report

For as long as I've fished SW FL, I've never seen a month as windy as March. If you need to go fishing in March, contact me at [email protected] and I will refer you to one of several guides. Allow me to say this about selecting a guide in Florida. You have a right to see the following proof of qualifications.
1) Proof of Ins (almost always the Company will be "Charter Lakes"
(2) Enrollment in a random drug consortium (ask to see card)
(3) Current (not expired) Captain's License
(4) * TWIC Card (ask to see it) The USCG will ask your Capt for it.
(5) Current/updated CPR

A word to the wise should be sufficient. March is a tough month to fish in SW FL. We've had 20-30KTS lately. Call or email me if you need a Professional/Licensed/Insured Guide. I'll be in Md the entire month of March.
