Good Fall Fishing

Capt. Freddie David
October 3, 2017
Haulover Inlet - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sorry for the delayed report but haven't been doing much fishing the past few weeks. This is our slow time of year and it's when most of the boats have a chance to get caught up on maintenance and tackle.

I was lucky to get out a couple times last week. We did some bottom fishing and got lucky with a nice sized cobia, limit of vermillion snappers and some almaco jacks.

Fishing has been good lately with lots of smaller kings around, dolphin, and swordfish offshore.

The wrecks have been holding very good with mutton snapper, yellow eye snapper, red snapper, vermillion snapper, gag grouper, cobia, amberjacks and warsaw grouper.

The mullet run is also in full swing. Some of the predators following them have been large tarpon, snook, lady fish, and jack crevalle just to name a few.

I have a few trips next week but also have some availability for October. Now is a great time for fishing and there is not much boat pressure because most of the charter boats are sitting at the dock.

If you would like to book a trip feel free to send me an email or you can call me direct. Take advantage of what South Florida has to offer and sea what's out there.

Stay Tight,

Capt. Freddie
