Well the fishing on the gulf is very slow except in areas the produce cooler water. I was out in the flats and didn't even see a pinfish. I went to St Joe's sound and found some nice fish near the spring.
Bass fishing has been interesting. Lake Tarpon was dirty after all the rain but is getting better each day it don't rain hard. Sal Apopka chain is doing better as there are more spring there keeping the water cooler. I fished with Capt. Al Layman a great friend and caught too many bass for anyone to believe. If you're in the Ocala or Leesburg area give him a call ( villageangler.com)
