Gulf Grouper Fishing Report

Hernando Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Gulf Grouper Fishing Report
15 April 2008

Even though the wind has made fishing a little tough, the Grouper fishing has been very consistent. Gag Groupers in any depth of water have been plentiful. Live or dead bait it does not matter, if you find a reef that has Grunts you will catch Grouper. Some Red Grouper have moved in to surrounding areas; however most have been undersized. Water temperatures have been around 78 degrees. Optimal conditions for a fun day on the water. Some Kingfish have been caught and lots of Spanish Mackerels everywhere.
I look forward to seeing you on the water.
