Hernando Beach Grouper

Capt. Joel Gant
May 5, 2014
Hernando Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Summer is finally here. Grouper, Trout, Cobia, Bluefish, Sharks, Tarpon all are in our waters right now. Grouper are moving in to the shallow rocks in 12-18 feet of water. You can bottom drop live or frozen baits, I like to troll plugs this time of year for these hard hitting, drag screaming bruisers. Cobia and Sharks are showing up around the rocky structure areas, look for the rays. Just about any bait put in front of them will entice a fight you won't forget. Going fishing with friends or family can be an experience that memories are made of. There is nothing better than a nice day on the water for good family fun. I supply everything you need (license, tackle & fun) . If you would like to set up a trip on the Gulf, please call or check out my website.
