Hot November Fishing

Capt. Josh Fritz
November 3, 2011
Hernando Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well today is november 1st and turkey day is all most here. The inshore and back country fishing is off the hook. Trout and some monster gator trout are just killing top water plugs all day long we are catching trout up to 28" yes 28" and fat. On a daily trip we have been catching 60+ trout with ease. Redfish are in the back bays and creeks with good water flow and structure. Top water skitter wal...ks in the trout and white color are working well for me also white jerk baits and mirr o dines in the 808 color are producing great red fish action. The mackerel are out in full force target water depth of 6 to 10 feet live white bait is the bait of choice use a 2/0 long shank hook with a 30lb leader to prevent cut offs. Our Fall cobia run is taking place right now look in shallow water 2 to 5 feet around grass flats with sand holes or shallow water rock piles. A good indactor to look for a sting rays the cobia will ride the backs or just behind the rays and feed on what ever the rays kick up. Live shrimp or a pin fish will do the trick. Fishing is very good right now give me a call and book a trip. 352-345-9304 also check out my website for recent pictures and videos.
