Gulf Grouper Fishing Report

31 Oct 2007

Spooky weather lately! Lots of wind and rain and falling water temperatures. Fishing for Grouper has been outstanding prior to this change of weather. I am certain fishing will be even better when the wind subsides. Every year this happens in the fall and the Grouper fishing is spectacular. Mostly dead bait will do the trick in the murky waters after a front. Boston Mackerel, Mullet, and Threadfin Herring are best. I look forward to fishing this fall; it is going to be fun.
