Sea Trout spoiled freshwater

Hernando Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well... I guess things are gonna take a while in Florida for people and fishing will get back to what we think is normal. I went to a few lakes and saw many dead fish... oil slicks... and tons of hydrilla grass. A friend went to Lake Toho in a tournament and told me it was bad fishing. Lake Rousseau stunk with dead fish ... My truck and trailer was the only one in the parking lot. Lake Harris was ok but the lake once again is being taken over by a new crop of hydrilla. Johns lake boat ramp on HY 50 was closed so if your heading there call first and save a ride.
Went saltwater fishing with the wife out of Bayport, Florida and we had a wonderful day catching nice Sea Trout, Sea Bass, Jacks, shallow water grouper and lots of other fish. Most came from 6 to 8 foot of water at low tide.
