Tarpon Thick on Cape San Blas

Capt. Mike Locklear
July 25, 2009
Homosassa - Saltwater Fishing Report

Indian Pass, Little St. George and Mexico Beach are where the tarpon are now.

My season is extended to include August if a two day
booking can be made within the end of the month.

Homosassa scalloping is fair to poor so I hear as is the remainder of the west coast. Everyone could be lying that is doing well.

Redfish are sparse around Homosassa, but I look for them to arrive between the Full and new moon of August.

Get out there and go fishing if you can becasue it is good for you.

Capt. Mike

Target Species:

Tarpon Reds & Scallops
