Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report
We've been experiencing some awesome fishing the last few trips aboard the Captain Easy out of Smugglers marina in Islamorada Florida. Fishing has been very good. Just about everything we've tried to do the last few weeks has been successful. The Bottomfishing has been exceptionally good. Everything from patch reef fishing for big mutton snapper to deep dropping for yelloweye and vermillion snapper has been good. In on the reef the yellowtail snapper bite has been strong. And we've also had some excellent action live bait fishing for pelagics like Sails, Wahoo, and black fin tuna. Here are a few pics from the last few trips.

Islamorada Fishing Forecast:
Sailfishing should peak over the next month or so, and we should have more wahoo, kings, and blackfin tuna mixed into the catch as well. The fishing is great, but it has been slow down here with the post hurricane Irma tourist season It's a great time to come to the keys and take advantage of the light crowds.
