Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing report: There are plenty of medium size Blackfin Tuna migrating south through the Islamorada area, and around the nearby Humps. Lots of Yellow tail snapper on the edge of the reef. The Yellow tail fishing Tactics are constantly changing. Be prepared with plenty of chum, sand, and oats. A variation of leader materials and hook sizes will often make a difference. Some Kingfish action is going on in the deeper reef areas. Live pilchards seem to be the best bait lately. Many anglers have reported catching Kingfish drifting in 220 feet of water at night.
