The Big Ones are Here! Islamorada.

Capt. Kristian Demblans

Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

there is a certain pattern that I've noticed year after year. Bigger fish show up early in the season and at the latter half. It time. We are seei g bigger fish with every strike and the potential for a monster is there. Dolphin(Mahi Mahi) is an excellent target this time of year. So is tuna. There are plenty of fish making they're way through. Be ready for trophy size fish and plenty of schoolies. The humps all seem to have tuna. Fish deeper for the bigger ones.Rigged ballyhoo for the troll fresh squid or fresh bonita chunks work great.

Islamorada Fishing Forecast:

Mahi and tuna. Chase the wahoo close to the full moon cycle. Oct seems always like a good month for wahoo.

Target Species:

Mahi Mahi and Blackfin Tuna
