Upper Florida Keys & Islamorada

Capt. Izzy Donatiello
November 23, 2006
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Last week I had a tarpon trip. We had 6 fish on, but only managed to land one about 40 pounds. This cold front I feel put an end to the tarpon fishing for a while.

I also made a couple of reef trips. Yellowtails, mangrove and mutton snappers did most of the pulling. We also caught several short groupers, a couple of hogfish and quite a few cero mackerels.

Some sailfish and kings are being caught on the edge of the reef.

Book a trip with a full time pro; call 1-800-320-2753.

Izzy
