Sailfish season is here!

Capt. Bruce Andersen
November 11, 2013
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sailfish season is here! After a few weeks in the boat yard getting ready for the upcoming fishing season we finally got back on the water this week and had a great start catching lots of sailfish offshore of Islamorada. There is a lot of bait just offshore and the early numbers of sailfish in the area are a great sign that we'll have an excellent season this year. In addition to the sailfish we also caught a mix of dolphin, tuna, mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, and kingfish this week with as many s 5 sailfish releases a trip. Now is definitely the time to call and reserve a date for December or January, our 2 best sail fishing months in the Florida Keys.
