Sailfish season starting to heat up!

Capt. Bruce Andersen
November 20, 2014
Islamorada - Saltwater Fishing Report

Our sailfish season is just starting to turn on down here in the Florida Keys. Cooler temperatures are bringing the sails to the waters just offshore of Islamorada. The fishing has been very good, but the best is yet to come over the next few months. December and January have been the most consistent months for hot sailfishing the last few years and all the signs are pointing to a great season this year. We're already catching a decent amount of sailfish as well as a nice mix of kingfish, tuna, dolphin, snapper, grouper, and even a few nice wahoo just outside the reef.
