Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

Have a few prime days in April left. But not many.
"prime" meaning tidal.
Best tidal days.

The weather....has as usual had me doing many a re-schedule.

Winds, of course are a fisherman's meanest enemy.

ALREADY HAD THIS YEARS FIRST JACK CREVALLE.
DESPITE THE WATER BEING QUITE COLD COMPARATIVELY.

AND HAD THIS YEARS FIRST POMPANO INSHORE AT THE SAME SPOT I A CUSTOMER CAUGHT TWO LAST YEAR.
IN THE COLD 60 DEGREE "BARELY" WATER TWO WEEKS AGO.

although the weather is the trick this time of year. Just go fishing and deal with it when it happens.

I no longer cancel or reschedule trips till the day of, that morning. Been screwed ovcer by the weather guessers too ma ny times.

My YOUTUBE CHANNEL has been very active. Lots and lots of chatter in the comments section.
Lots of contests for "subscribers".

Jacksonville Fishing Forecast:

I'm thinking "as a inlet/Jetty guy" that much that I'm looking forward too is happening kinda slowly out there, and is late.

But there's no rules in Mother nature.
So what do I know?

More Fishing Reports:

Inshore fishing the St. Johns River, and estuaries around Jacksonville, Florida provides year round opportunities for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead to name just a few. Plus, seasonal favorites such as Shark, Tripletail and Pompano. The legendary Mayport Jetties are mile long piles of huge granite boulders that protect the inlet to the St. Johns River from the Atlantic Ocean. Around these jetties is some of the best and most consistent fishing.
