Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

It's been a busy few weeks. Although the heat of the summer and the St. Johns River and inlet fishing, has me bouncing around between the two on certain tides. If you know where to go and when to be there it can make all the difference.
Of course, summer is "kid trips". I can go a whole week and each charter will have Jr. Anglers aboard. Interesting as they maybe, they are also suprising.
From 5 to 15 years old has been the range lately. And I enjoy the charters the most when the kids remind me of myself at their age.

and Dad,

Here's some photos of a group that got larger as the kids got older. And man, did we have fun catching Black Drum, Redbass, Trout, Mangrove Snappers, and Croakers bottom fishing.

Then, there's those trips that I have a solo angler aboard. Again, you can't miss.....all ya have to do is follow my lead. Because with one person aboard I'll make a few casts too.

What is it about the women? Here's a gal that outfished her husband, and she never fished a day in her life before. Lady Luck is what I call it, but sometimes I'd like to have a boat load of women or experienced men any day.

Father and son trips like this one was a blast!
We float-rigged and had some Trout, then shark fished and dad sweated a few pounds off, then went back to float-rigging and had Reds and big Mangrove Snappers to 15-16 inches.

Next up is a shark fishing day, and some Trout Redfish trips.
If you're wanting to book a trip and it's less than a week or two notice. Just call me. Heck with all that un-personal email stuff. I can tell you so much more about your day on the phone.

-there's lots of fishing going on!
get you some!
