Fishing the City Limits!

Capt. James Howard
August 24, 2009
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing in the downtown area of Jacksonville Florida you can experience something you want find too many places. From Trout and Red fish to Large mouth bass. That's right large mouth in the same area.

The less salt in the water the more Bass you will catch on the docks and bulk heads. There is nothing like throwing a live shrimp under a dock and watching try to escape the fish. The fish always wins.

And there is the occasional Snook. On a recent trip we float fished for Trout and caught at least 30. Then moved about 200 yards and caught 8 nice Large Mouth Bass. That is something you just don't do very often.

It sure makes for some happy clients. You get a fresh and salt water charter all in one!
