Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report
I look forward to fishing offshore in Jacksonville, FL in October. As our temps begin to fall, our water temp follows, which brings in our annual Black Sea Bass fishery. Our temps haven't started to fall yet, so we are still waiting for that. We still have a nice swell offshore but the winds on Mon, Tues, and Wed were light so the ocean was fish-able. Our water is still really dirty offshore but from how the fish were biting, I believe the dirty water doesn't go all the way to the bottom. We had a good variety of fish including plenty of red snapper, mutton snapper, lane snapper, black sea bass, sharks, and some other miscellaneous fish.
