Same Old Song!!!!!!

Capt. James Howard
May 29, 2008
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

Same old song for Memorial Day with the Trout bite except add an extra 500 boats to the river and just about anywhere you wanted to go. It's a good thing most of them are pleasure boaters!!!!!

The extra traffic didn't seem to bother the Trout that morning or afternoon. I had a morning and afternoon trip that were both very productive. I mostly Trout fished but there were also a lot of nice size Blue fish and Jacks to add to the rod bending.

We had quite a few Trout in the 4 to 5lb class and at least 40 Trout for the whole day. Add 50 more Jacks and Blue's and I went thru almost 20 dozen shrimp…..

The Tarpon are starting to show up so I am looking forward to putting my clients on a few of those soon.

It is pretty much wide open right now in Jacksonville Florida for about anything you care to catch inshore and a whole lot of quality fish...
