Summer time is "kids time" aboard the Jettywolf

Capt. Dave Sipler
July 18, 2013
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

Starts in July. And of course thins out in September.

Capt Dave's Sportfishing is all about taking the Kids Fishing.

Be it 4-5 year olds or 10-14 year olds.

Capt Dave has a fishing trip designed for YOU.

#1 we depart early. So as to not be out in the super heat of the day, or when storms start brewing, or the S.E. breeze starts honkin'.

Just like all my charters in the middle of the summer.

See some sights. Birds, Dolphins, bait schools, do some fishing with Mom and Dad's help.

My Kids trips are for "the Kids", not for the adults. The adults can help the really small kids and get in the mix.

The perfect morning activity in the summer when everyone has had enough surf and sand, or pool chlorine.

From 12 to Teens can easily do a full blown 6+ hour day, which is my usual.

I have a saying;

-in 17 years of doing full-time fishing charters, I have never done a "dock to dock" charter in just 4 hours. Maybe because we're just plain having a good time.

So yes, all my trips are based on the tides and the tides around here are every six hours.

My Kids Trips are 2 hours.

Call 8am-8pm eastern time to pre-book your date aboard the Jettywolf.

More Fishing Reports:

Inshore fishing the St. Johns River, and estuaries around Jacksonville, Florida provides year round opportunities for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead to name just a few. Plus, seasonal favorites such as Shark, Tripletail and Pompano. The legendary Mayport Jetties are mile long piles of huge granite boulders that protect the inlet to the St. Johns River from the Atlantic Ocean. Around these jetties is some of the best and most consistent fishing.
