Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

The past week I have been booked for 7 days solid. Many of these fine folks that I had aboard the Jettywolf, were past customers that are like me....

ADDICTED TO FLOAT-RIG FISHING AND CATCHING BIG FAT SPECKLED TROUT.

We also caught some Redfish, and even 18" Croakers!!!!

And the new customers wanted to catch Trout. And several days we limited out the whole boat, and at the same time boxed Trophy sized Trout for each person aboard.

We had several 23-25" Trout.

Inshore fishing the St. Johns River, and estuaries around Jacksonville, Florida provides year round opportunities for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead to name just a few. Plus, seasonal favorites such as Shark, Tripletail and Pompano. The legendary Mayport Jetties are mile long piles of huge granite boulders that protect the inlet to the St. Johns River from the Atlantic Ocean. Around these jetties is some of the best and most consistent fishing.
